What cog do I use to make an elevator go up to a room, and go back down like a regular elevator, but player is able to press switch to go up to next floor b4 elevator goes back down. What cog do i use? (and how do i use it...)

edit: Needs to have 5 switches (a switch on each floor)

ok, I'll try it now.

hmmmm....ok, it sorta works. The elevator goes up and stays there on the second floor, and i can bring it down from the bottom floor, but I can NOT bring it up to the second floor while I'm on the second floor.


I only have 2 frames assigned to the elevator. For it to go up to the second floor, and back down to the first floor...umm, am I supposed to add more frames?

If you read the header inside that cog, it notes that you have to have one of those cogs placed for every level the elevator goes to. That's probably your problem.

ok, i figured it out (while massassi was down lol) I suffered from not one, but TWO problems, first, i needed to give the elevator a frame for each floor, then I messed up by putting numframes instead of frame and not adding a number. Then I messed up again by not figuring out what the callswitch was for or how to use it, so i was dum and had like an up and down switch for each thing...so now i have it right. hehe thanks anyways.
