where do i get matedit??
2002-03-19, 3:29 AM #1
In the tutorial on how to make your own 3do it says you will need matedit but it is not in the dowload section so where in the bluehell do i ge it from. Cos i feel like being cocky and making my own character. This is mainly due to having some success with other areas of my levels.

Also I would like to say that I have just ate a hole tub of Ben n' jerry's caramel chew chew ice cream (can I name brands or is that advertisment???? lol) and I am 90% certain i am gonn be sick. You would think at 20 I would know better, urrrrrgggghhhh.

i use matmaster instead of matedit. Matmaster is basically a conversion program that allows you to convert bitmap files (.bmp) to jk materials (.mat). I create my bitmaps in paintshop pro and convert them via matmaster. It's easy to use and it allows to create mipmapped and multicelled materials...all hail matmaster!

waaaah I donwloaded this program "TSM" where it talked you through the process and I changed my yun model so how do i get it back if i want to. PLus how do you do decent hair in photo shop, I can give them a kind of bubble perm but that really takes away the evil look.

in notepad, choose save as, make sure you have "all files" selected in the dropdownlist, and save the file as yourname.3do
