Anyone know of a better program for converting files to 3do's other then the old 3do Converter? It stops responding on my comp for anything over about 500,000 polies for triangle poly meshes and around 5,000 polies for square (quad) poly meshes.

Were you reffering to DXF inport? It doesn't work well for this either.

No, honestly, there isn't a better program. CA's is possibly the only usable one, and it does have quite a few bugs. My suggestion is to, if possible, use different parts of the 3DO and export them each. That's about the only way to do it past 16 thousand.
