I need to know how to use plugins. I've never tried them before and I want to see how well the lighter.dll will work on one of my levels.

Take your plugin. Unzip it. Put it in the folder called "plugins" in your JED folder. Now it's in the "Plugin" menu in JED.

Make sure it's the newest version of the plugin. There was like 8 different versions posted in the thread.
Are you using an older version of JED, maybe?

I'm using beta951 but I don't even have the creat JKtree in the options.
