I extract a lvl and it says this lvl is password protected. what do I doI tried different lvls but it says the same thing.

Maybe try uninstalling WinZip, and install it again. I don't know if it will work though.

Ahah! More than likelly, you're extracting a file that was put together with an alternative compiling program. See, JKGob and ConMan gob files MUCH differently. Pick up JKGob and try opening the file that way. If you still have issues, post here. But that SHOULD fix the problem. If you're as put off by JKGob as I am, just extract the whole darn directory and regob with ConMan and go from there.

first I open JKGOB:

I select all of it:

I hit extract and put it in JK>GAMEDATA>EPISODE:

That is because the gob you are trying to open is on the CDROM .
(Copy it to your hard drive first)

Well, extract it to your HD. You can't extract onto the CD-ROM.

Ok you are obviously on the wrong track.

You do not need to do anything with the cdrom.

To install a new level, put it in C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Jedi Knight\Episode\
