OK, so now that I sound like some kinda Dr. Freakin' Frankenstein, I must admit the following:

I _SUCK_ at modelling...!

I need body parts for the following in-game NPC models (for use in an "ultra-amputate MOD):

* head & torso of the brown Gran (ReeYees)

* head & torso of the black Gran

* head, torso, & arm of the Rodian (Greedo)

* head & torso of the brown Tusken

* head & torso of the grey Tusken

* head & torso of the Stormtrooper

* head, torso, & arm of the Imperial Officer

* head, torso, & arm of the Imperial Commando

Oh please oh please can sumbuddy help...!

Thanx

Why don't you just import those models in JED and delete the parts that you don't need?

Get an ungobbing program from the programs section of the JKHub.net. Copy res2.gob from your JK folder and past it in a backup folder outside of your JK folder. Open the res2.gob. The player models have pretty obvious names, but if you need help, the JK Specs have all of the model names in them [I think].

Export all of the models you want, open them in JED. Delete the excess parts that you don't want, export as a new model, and tada!

OOOooofff...!!!

Looks like I've bitten off more than I can chew!

I delete nodes using JED's 3do hierarchy, but in-game I only get the dreaded yellow/grey box...

So I fire up JOKE and delete nodes there -- works, but torso remains are sitting at the player's waist level...

UGG...!

Change the insert offset, I believe it is. (You should be able to find an appropriate offset by looking up one of the existing amputated parts...)
