I think what everyone is getting at here, is that you should suck it up and use JED.

lol, I'm not using jed till some1 gives me a reallly good reason. And if you have a problem with me using JKedit, then YOU ALL need to suck it up and get used to it.

Weirdman, if my post wasn't a good enough reason, then I don't know what is.

Plain and simple, JKEdit's grid is HORRIBLE. JED's grid is not. If you want an O.K.ish looking level, you use JKEdit. If you want a Great looking level, you use JED. (I went into more detail on the last page and I don't feel like repeating myself.)

What he is saying has a direct result in the statistics. Nearly all of the good JK levels were built in JED. In fact, I don't know of a single good level built in JKEdit (I remember a news post about one, but that was at least 2 years ago).

I mean, 99% of the people here are telling you to switch to JED. Why do you think is that? Because we are all fuzzyheads that simply don't like JKEdit without any reason?
This editing community has over the years worked hard to push JK to and beyond it's limits. The people here know what can be done, and what needs to be done to achieve any editing goals. And they know what tools to use.

If you stick with JKEdit you are either lazy or an ignorant.

Wow guys...just wow. He just wanted a little assistance in JKEdit. Yet he was baraged with "omg get JED!!11" after he (and I) explicitly said stop. Just because you all don't like JKEdit that doesn't that EVERYONE doesn't like it. He tried JED and he didn't like it. His perogative. And you all ostricized him.

I pray for the soul of the next person who asks a question for JKEdit. I really do.

Weirdman22: Calm down. I'm sorry you were treated like this. You did manage to get some help though. I wish you well in your attempts in making levels. I hope you don't leave this place.

For the record: Some time ago I did see a wonderfully done JK level done in JKEdit. If you scour the Showcase archives you might find it.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.
