An ingame screenshot would give a lot more information than 2 wireframe shots. What exactly is clipping? and what do you mean by clipping? That part of the model is intersecting another part? or that part of the model isn't being rendered at all? We need more information to help.

You probably want to use a thing-based pov for that model... instead of the JK pov system.

Stormtrooper: you know how JK's pov rendering is messed up on more complex models, and surfaces show through other surfaces? I'm guessing that's the clipping he's talking about

Note I am still trying to fix it screen position so it doesnt look squarish lol, althaugh I may have to remake the model, but id like to fix this oen so I can use the same basic idea for a updated one.

Yeah, you definitely want to use the attachment I posted. Unless you want to do some crazy work on it.

My first post.... anyway, enough nostalgia... if you'd rather use JK's pov renderer, do what freelancer said on that thread

normal JK thing's don't appear like that, so just use the things.

You could just write a simple code with a pulse that sticks a thing to your player and makes it invisible in 3rd person and visible in 1st person. Just play animations on the thing instead of using jkPlayPovWhatever();. I bet if you wanted to go that far, you could even mimic the gun shake movement when the player runs. Only problem I ran into is that it sticks through close walls, but thats fixable sorta

Why is the answer to why always why? Why is there no final answer to why? Simply why not? Holy cow, this is pretty deep, meaningful **** I wrote. Glad I wrote it down. Oh man."

I fixed it by cleaving it and deleting the surface that was cliping it. It works now, now its just to finish off the model and finish the animation :D

Thanks for your help guys :D
