Jed grid help
2005-09-18, 12:18 PM #1
Ok, I've been trying to work with JED but I can't figure out how to get the grid to recenter at (0,0,0) after doing a snap grid to object.
I just want the grid moved for one part, then I want it back in the center again. How can I reset the grid without closing out of JED?

Insert a new thing.
Open the "Item Editor" (press enter... that menu with all the thing properties....)
Set x,y,z to 0.
Snap Grid to your '0 0 0' object
Delete/hide the object.
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

Press F9 to bring up the tools menu, go to the grid/camera tab, and set everything under grid to 0 then click set grid.
