Changing 3do Size
2006-01-02, 5:46 PM #1
Im working on a project and one of the 3dos I placed in the introduction is much to large. How would I go about changing the size of the 3do so that it is smaller? :confused:

You're going to want to go into the .jed of the 3do [or open the 3do in JED] multiselect all sectors and hitting F9. Rescale the 3DO here.

This, however, will mess up your textures. An easier way that won't mess up your textures [but will mess up your nodes if it's noded] is doing it in JOKE. I, however, never use joke.

As long as you scale by an even number, you should be able to select the "scale textures" option and the UV cords for your textures should scale with the model.

runs off to test this theory
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

You can sometimes scale it by uneven number or even decimals and it work fine. But I tend to have a higher success rate with even numbers ESPECIALLY multiples of two...
