Hey guys. Im making a model in jed that is only one surface. I put a mat on it but the mat only shows up on one side. How do I make the Mat appear on both sides? :confused:

Duplicate the model and flip 180 degrees?

You can't make a surface visible from two sides as far as I know. Unless it's an adjoin of course. (in which case it's actually 2 surfaces)

Uhhh, yeah you can. Its a surface flag that you need to set to make the face be two sided. I haven't edited Jedi Knight in ages so I'm not sure if the flag setting is 0x1 or something else. You'll have to open the 3do in notepad and find the surface in order to edit it.

yeh, open it in notepad (if its a simple 3do) and add 0x1 to its surfaces.

JOKE also does this, but seems to reset the value in JED :( (same as blocks light)
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}
