Force Remap Help

I am unsatisfied with Jed's texturing capabilities for 3dos so I am trying out force remap. I already had the program but not the tutorials for it. The force remap homepage is down and I was wondering if anyone had the tutorials so I can texture a detailed chair model I've made.

Load the model. Select the mesh and the texture you want to remap. Use one of the quick buttons to make the change.

Somehow, the scaling and selection tools at the bottom got messed up in the latest release. I have put the source codes up that I had from beta testing the program. Maybe someone can open it up, see what's wrong, and fix it. All of the previous builds prior to 1.1 had full working tools.

But if I remember right, imbedded in the 3do file Force Remap uses numbers in exponential form, ie, -4e-005 for "-0.000040". JK doesn't recognise this ingame, but editors do. Solution: import new textured model into JED, then immediate export into new 3do. Then you will have clean, textured 3do.
This is retarded, and I mean drooling at the mouth

Well If the program has all these bugs then I'll forget about learning it.

JK seems to work fine with models that have the 'e' notation within....

But anyways, scaling issues aside, ForceRemap is a very useful tool It often simplifies the process of texturing models with large numbers of polygons, where doing it in jed would be impossible or at least very difficult.
May the mass times acceleration be with you.
