Sliding Glass Doors

Sup. I've been trying to place sliding glass doors in my JK level that you can actually see through. However, when I put them in the level, they come out like this:

When the back side looks like this:

I've even used door cogs that get rid of HOM. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to tell with such tiny pictures.... But try some basic troubleshooting:

First, replace your custom 3do with an LEC door of equal size. If the door works properly with that 3do, then your glass door 3do is the cause of the error. If it still doesn't work, it may be cog or archi related.

Does the door span more than one sector? Because it shouldn't. I don't care what anyone says. Anyone who tries to hack a door cog so it can move a 3do into different sectors is simply too lazy to cleave properly, and should just uninstall JED and think about finding a new hobby.

Door cogs cause HOMs to not render anything behind a closed door. It also looks like your glass texture is clipping the metal door 3do in the background. And that brings me to something else, make sure you remove that part of the code of the cogs for the see through doors.

I've based this 3do off of an actual LEC door model, so it is definitely the right size and in the right position. Besides iff that were the case, then I would only be seing HOM at the seam between door and wall.

I know the pictures are tiny, but if you look carefully, these HOM are not the ordinary type. These types of HOM simply leave after-images of everything over the partially rendered back side. Basically the only probable solution would be to re-make the glass part, but I'm not sure what I'd have to do to fix the problem.

That's what happens you have a translucent 3do template flagged as architecture.
