so like i have usually ignored this problem, and just put snap on .005 and got it as close as I can.... but I have noticed that once and a while when I create a 3do and select the sector to export it as a 3do, after I create the template and import my 3do into my project, I notice that the **dot** (which i like to call the focal point) is placed in the weirdest f*ing spot on the 3do and whenever i move it, it will not work well with the snap settings, even if the snap is .005. See, I have a sweetass custom door that i'd like to have aligned. Other than moving the grid, how can I fix this problem? How can I change/modify the focal point?

Switch to Sector Mode

Tools -> 3DO Hierarchy

Add Missing Nodes

Parent: $$DUMMY

Edit Mesh X,Y,Z

Ctrl + Left Mouse Button -> Drag point to desired location.

Switch to another mode then back to Sector Mode.

Export 3do as normal.

I found the program JOKE 0.7.7 (or something version) works amazing for 3dos, but I often have to inport & export JOKE 3dos into JED before using them ingame. It takes a little bit to get used to, but this late into JK editing it definately will be worth your time
