Ok so just recently i did a dual boot with Windows XP Media Center and Windows blow me... woops i mean Me anyway i went to install JK on it and it worked except it said i needed to install Direct X. I tried from the JK cd but that didnt work so then i downloaded the newest version and that still didnt work so finnaly i downloaded drivers for my graphics card and that STILL didnt work. JK runs fine on Me but it just keeps giving me the same message that i need to install direct x on XP does anyone know how i can get arid of this?

System im running
Pentium III 933mhz
NVDIA GeForce MX 4000 128mb
440 gb of hd space
512 mb of ram
dual boot XP and Me

Maybe try a reinstall now that you have directx installed?

nope that didnt do it still getting the same message

run jk.exe and not jedi.exe

yep that works! thanks!... the only problem is that textures are now not smooth like before they seem to be blocky does anyone know anyway around this or am i just gonna have to live with it

Sounds like 3d Acceleration might not be on.... so, to fix that, in JK, go to Setup|Display and make sure "Enable 3d Acceleration" is checked.

hmmm it is checked i think this has to do with the stupid direct x thing

set the resolution higher

its on 1280x1024
