I'm trying to use the lighter plugin by Sige. I've used it on my level a lot in the past, and started it up to mess around today and when I try to use the plugin I get that error message. Any ideas what might be my problem?

you have a light not in a sector, or a light too close to the edge of a sector/inside of a really small sector.
