I'm not really up to date, so please tell me, what are the current techniques to get proper POV-models? Still seifer's cog? How is JKE doing it (as this mod doesn't include cogs, IIRC)?

I'm pretty sure ol' Seifer's method is the way, but I learned that all the way back from tweaking old JK TEAM BATTLE stuff.
My major complaint is the models 'go through walls' if you get too close to one.
Not to mention it's a pain the the neck to get it to work right, with the animations and 'internal camera viewing only' and etc.

I haven't opened up JKE stuff so I don't know. If you discover a quality method then please, don't hesitate to share it!
