how do i make my mats look translucent?(see through but you can stull see them)

For a 3do or level. Im not sure if you can do it w/ a 3do, but if its a level, do the tutorial on doing glass, but leave out the cog that makes it break.

its a 3do ive seen it done like on certain mod weapons like real dbz some of projectiles are translucent

It has nothing to do with the mat itself. Its the surface flags.
