First of all, I'll start out with that I have JED. Recently I got some 3DO and MAT files from Massassi, but have no idea where to put them so I can use them in my levels. So...where would I put them?

Assuming you know about Project Directories, you make a new directory inside your Project Directory, and call it "mat", then you put your mat files into there...I don't know about 3do though...maybe another directory called 3do??

If you don't know what a project directory is go to the editing help section of my web site (link is in my signature).

Yes for 3dos you need to have another folder in your project directory called 3do to put them in. You will also have to create templates for the new 3dos. Look at the templates tutorials here at Massassi for help with that.

How do I upload my door-mat to my hard drive?

NO NO NO NO NO!!

Do NOT put those files into your res2.gob. It will work fine on your computer, but what about when you go to distribute your work. You would have to include the entire modified res2.gob file in the zip. Just put them in your project directory's mat and 3do subdirectories.
