If you have the front side of a surface selected and you want to select the opposite or back side, how do you accomplish this?

hit f (or is it shift f - I don't remember off the top of my head but I think its f).

That only seems to put it into surface mode. I already have a selected surface that when viewed from once side it appears solid. When viewed from the other side it disappears. I want to select the side that is disappearing so I can edit its GEO.

the only way I know is to go to sector mode and select the sector on the opposite side of that surface. Then go back to surface mode and get the opposite surface highlighted for all your editing pleasures. If you can't click on the sector AND it's adjoined to the surface that you say is visible, you can get the adjacent sector # and cycle through til you get it using 'N' or 'P'. Hope that helps

My second thought was right. It's shift+f to get the opposite side of an adjoin. Sorry for the confusion.

remember: each surface has just one side.
you can only select the other side of an adjoin. that means two connected surfaces of different sectors.
