Were can I change the max amount of ammo for weapons? I went into items.dat and changed it there, but there was no change. If this is the right spot, tell me cause there must be some other problem that's preventing it from working.

#1, I'm hoping that you did change the right bin number, and that it was the maximum value that you changed, right?

and secondly, make sure that it's in the misc subdirectory of yor resource directory
And meanwhile the bus with legs has destroyed half of disneyland . . . and nobody cares!

Yea, I changed the right number in the items.dat file. I then gobbed my edited version of the item.dat with my level. It was then put into the directory misc in the gob file.

I'll just take a wild guess. I don't know if this is the problem or not but I think the max and starting ammo ammounts are also set in the player cog.

The player's cog is Kyle.cog

Depends on if you're in JK or MotS. Just open up the master/mots.tpl and find the walkplayer template. It's the cog you'll see listed there. I think it's kyle.cog and kyle_m.cog.

kyle.cog displays what the player starts with.. and to my knowledge you cant put items.dat in a level, but you might be able to

The Kyle cog didn't say anything about weapon or ammo amounts. Items.dat seems to be the right spot, but putting it in my gob doesn't seem to do anything. Anybody know why? Here's the line I changed, this is the only thing I changed:

#rail charges
railcharges 15 0 60 0x080

Originaly the 60 was a 30.

I don't want this post to slip to the bottom and go unanswered, if you know how to change the maximum amount of ammo alowed for a weapon in a multiplayer level, please tell me.

Have you tried putting the items.dat only in the ..\JediKnight\Resource\misc directory and not in the gob-file?

The problem probably is the bm's. if he has it over 500 it won't show up. that is what it is unless it goes to 499 after the first shot. so if it is doing that your screwed.
