I am making a duel of the fates level (not taking anything from Hoth's) and need to do the power cores. I have made some 3dos, but they don't look so great. Can I make a transparent 16-bit sprite? I've heard that 16-bit doesn't look good transparent, but I tried it, and it seemed to look fine, except if transparent 16-bit surfaces were overlapping, the one farthest back would only be half visible.

Anything you can do with 8bit mats you can do with 16 bit mats. The issues with looking through multiple translucent things (windows, etc) is just because JK doesn't handle translucency very well.

Can you even make transperent sprites for 8bit? Because if you can you can create them for 16bit easy done if you don't need a transperent colour like black in the normal palette.

Ah. Excuse me. I mean translucent sprites. The problem I was talking about was with 16-bit only. I will post a screen.
