Can anyone make reflective surfaces?
2001-01-08, 5:57 PM #1
Has anyone figured out how to make reflective surfaces in jedi knight? I've read someone's comments about adding reflective floors to a certain level but I can't remember wich one, so I was woundering if this was even possible to do with the JK engine, if it is can someone please post a link or tell me how it is done. Thank you.

While JK's engine is not compatible with actual reflections, it is possible to create a simulated reflection by making a translucent surface with the same architecture on the other side of the surface. Of course, this doesn't reflect player 3dos, so the effect is limiting...

Thanks Xephar. Do you know where I can get the program to compile 16bit mats?

In the deathmatch of life, there is a timelimit, but no fraglimit. :)
