How do I make one? Matmaster wont let me do it because the bitmaps arent 8 bit. Mat16 doesnt seem to be able to do this... so how do I make multicelled 16 bit mats?

Hmmm... I don't know for sure. Let me experiment with Mat16 and see if I can find anything. If not...

I know Madaventor somehow did it for his 16 bit acid storage facility patch... didnt he?

I was thinking the exact same thing....
I'm not completly sure though, maybe I can find MaDaVentor's 16bit patch and see what he did..

Strange... there's an add cell option under tools, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can import a multi-celled mat just fine. You might try emailing the creator of Mat16.

Odd. I tried add cell and it works for me. Just click it, and choose a bitmap.
Capitalization
Commas
Periods
Question Marks
Apostrophes
Confusable Words
Plague Words

OK - I figured it out and managed to make a multicelled mat with Mat16 last night.

Open up your bmp file. Then go to the tools pull down menu and select add cell. Here's the trick - you have to be working from a bmp. If you open up an 8 bit mat it doesn't seem to give you the add cell option.
