Strange new enemy problem
2001-01-06, 2:29 PM #1
This is very strange, very annoying, and is holding up the release of my enemy pack.

I'm putting Al McDonlad's textures on some existing models. I've put this one on a tusken, an imp officer, and a railgun toating pirate. The first 2 work just fine. The third one works fine when it's by itself, but when you put it in a level with one of the other 2 force pull and force grip won't affect him at all. At first it was doind that when you put him in with the original railgun pirate, but when I switched it to using a different actor cog (same cog just renamed it) that problem went away.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Just use the renamed cog??? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif]

Maybe it's a local problem? Maybe you actually need beta testing for actors?

So you used the same cog for all three actors? Only reason I could see that happening is if you used a boss actor cog, but i don't know if you did. hmm...

No - the common cog problem was with one of the LEC 3dos. The only things these 3 new ones have in common are mats and wavs.

Maybe there was another cog with that name that didnt want to be replaced, so it wasn't. I don't see the problem with just having a different cog name to it.
