I am giving a surface a negative amount amount of extra lighting. It makes the darkness visible, but you can't light it up with a saber. What should I do? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif]

Make the darkness visible? What does that mean?

negative extralight makes the surface subtract the amount of extralight from the lights that want to light it up.
you have to use a light that is powerful enough, so when the extralight was subtracted from it there is still enough light to light the surface up.
i don't think the saber-light is powerful enough.
