When I'm tryin to make a door 3do, that little box is in the center. How do I move it around so it can be on one side of the door?

[http://216.105.160.32/html/confused.gif] Little box in the center? I'm not sure what you're talking about. Do you mean the node? Are you editing the door 3do itself or in a level?

the green box?
if that's what you're talking about then you go into thing mode (the white box button) and hold down the ctrl key and click and hold on the dot in the center of the box then drag it away
this green box is the walkplayer, the start position for the player of a level, also used for getting mesurements correct when making 3do's

Answer my previous question please. Are you talking about puting a 3do in a level or making a new 3do?

If you are asking about how to rotate a 3do around that point change the roll, pitch, and yaw settings in the item editor.

Ok, I am making a custom door 3do. And I need the little box dot thing to be on one side of the 3do. How do I move it?

Once you have created a 3do, the index point (or whatever it's called) cannot be moved. Although it should not really matter, sometimes 3dos that you want to move, such as doors, can be fussy if the index point is in an awkward position.

ok, how would I get the index point to one side of the 3do before I complete it?

Actually you can change it once you complete the 3do. Just open it in Joke - there's a way you can drag that node around to wherever you want. You can probably do it in Jed v.95, but frankly I haven't tried out all of the new 3do making features in it yet.
