how would you make a turret (speccificly the round one) not shoot up or down, but only left and right?

Are you talking about a kind of turret like the one in Nar Shadda?

If you are, I think all you have to do is make the ghost postions right in front or behind the turret, and not below or above.

no, no,those are box turrets, and this is not a trap, its a SP mots with a round turret above a door, and i want it to shoot down and to the side, not at me when i come torward it
