just a few little prob's i've been having
I don't know if it's my graphix card or MotS, but in big areas the textures sort of merge and transform (eg, bricks on a wall turn into heaps of brown lines) and it looks nothing like the texture is supposed to. It only stays on the surface but it happens to everything (unless it's sky). Has this happened to anyone else and how can i fix it?

Also, why does ctf not exist in MotS? Is there any mod to put it back in?

Anything about these will be helpful; thanx.

I'm not sure, but I think you're talking about mip maps - JK uses them to simulate distance. If you are making a level you can change the distance it does that at in the level header editor.

It doesn't exist b/c it was replaced with kill the fool. It is possible to make new MotS CTF levels though.

Actually, it's more like this.

Hmm, only seems to happen in Jed though, not MotS. Maybe it's not all that essential after all.
But a new problem has surfaced!
My sky in my level makes the sound go all wacky. It seems as if the sky is slowing down the comp. so much that the sound mucks up, but it's not slowing it down! I have about 30fps when looking at the sky (quite good for my computer, usually around 15). The only flags is that it's impassable and it's sky. The whole thing is an extruded sector but only about .5 deep (or tall). All five visible surfaces are 03sky02k.mat. I can't figure out why it's messing up the sound! Any help appreciated.
Thanx

What makes you think its the sky that's causing the sound problem?

That pic is... well its just kind of strange.

Yeah, the pic is strange, which is why I asked. I didn't understand it either

the sound problem doesn't happen in other areas of my level, only where the sky is on the screen. It doesn't happen where it's the only thing on the screen or not on the screen at all. Only when it's taking part of the screen.
