What are some common things that could be wrong when you change the sound on a gun, but it doesn't play that sound, it just plays beeps?

Could this have anything to do with me using Windows sound recorder? I heard that doesn't work with JK

Yes, sound recorder records at 44kbits or whatever and JK only supports 22kbits.

I think that it could be sound recorder in general... I could be wrong, but it doesn't work.

You can change the freq. of any wave in Sound recorder. Click on File, Properties and then Convert Now. You can change the frequency and other things to make the file smaller. I don't know if this'll make it work with Jk because I haven't done any waves. There are heaps of better sound recorders around, you should probably look for one of those.

Even if you do change the settings in Sound Recorder it won't work. It just doesn't support the wav format JK uses. Try getting Goldwav.

Worked for me. I recorded sounds 'n' put them for a stormtrooper. It works for me.

what, how did you do that. when ever i try and do it, it just has soft beeps. i thought it was because jk doesn't support the types of wav's sound recorder has. (like MikeC already said)

MikeC is right, i then tried Goldwave and it works in JK! try goldwave!
