Weapon not appearing

I made a weapon and it isn't appearing in MotS... I did the mounting animation and 3do and replaced the ones for the bryar pistol... it's lined up like it should be (I've compared it to SS3's glock, and the original bryar).

What reasons could there be for it not appearing?

This has happened to me with the last time 2 times I tried to make a weapon, and only worked with the original one I did (which was fairly simple). Any ideas?

As a test, I deleted the gun mesh from the 3do (using Joke), made a new key file, but still no dice. I'm beginning to suspect Joke in this.

Here's what I did, in case this helps:

First, I built the 3do in JED, then scaled it up 8 times for texturing. Then, using Joke, I scaled it down to 1/8th of its size, then rotated it downwards. Next I 'inserted' the fistv.3do (to give it both hands). I then lined up my gun, organised the heirachy (including deleting one dummy$$$ and making parts of my gun children to the main bit), set the pivot points, and then keyed it.

Is there an alternative way I could try? Specifically one that will work for multi-mesh weapons. I'm really interested in the way the authors of mods like SS3 and armytc did it.

Thanks,
Matt

OK, I completely eliminated Joke from my diet, using instead 3do converter, fun3do and trusty wordpad. Still no dice. This is really aggravating. Surely someone has some idea?
