If you've got the same problem I did, your 3do is displayed in Jed but not ingame, then there is a chance I can help.
I made a pretty big 3do, which was way above 3do limits, so It had to be cleaved.
I then added a number into the "Layer"
section in the Thing Editor and went up by one on each cleaved area, eg. Area 1 = 1
Area 2 = 2, etc... (Area nbr does not have to be the same as Layer nbr)
This did not work, no matter how much I tried.
Then by a freak accident I opened up my 3do in Puppet Jedi.
To my surprise clicking on "$$$dummy" did not highlight any of the sectors in the 3do,
which is why it wasn't displayed.
The reason being was, they were all listed underneath each other which is wrong.
I opened up "Joke" then listed all my sectors underneath "$$$dummy". (Sort of like a database configuration)
Heres some ASCIII art to help Portray what I mean.
$$$dummy
|-
|-Area1
|-Area2
|-etc....
Thats what It should look like NOT like this
$$$dummy
|-Area1
|-Area2
|-etc...
If you don't have a "$$$dummy" thingie,
you can add one in Joke.
If this doesn't work then you'r probably going over the limits in "Faces" on your 3do or not implementing it into your level properly.
Testing your 3do in Puppet Jedi is something I really reccomend, cause if works ok there will be a red contour around it.
Both Joke and Pupper Jedi are available in the Programs Section of WWW.Massassi.Com
Hope This Helps People
