my doorways don't work!!!

When my passages connect to rooms and such they have little homming effects that go when you cross them then look back. Even though you can still go through the passage. This is extremely annoying and it escpecially happens near doorways

Do those doorways have a cood cog attched to them...if so you need to make the sector around the door be about the width of the door. If not then you probably have flags incorrectly...Be sure that your adjoin flag is "7" so you can see thru the adjoin. Surface flag "0"

Sounds like you didn't make your doors properly. If you want more information on HOM and what can cause it go to my web site (link is in my signature) and look in the editing help/troubleshooting page.

I am still having trouble. It is just a passageway that is at a right angle, that is where the HOMing occurs. All I use is the old 00_door.cog and I have made sure that it is adjoined and the flags are correct.

Can you stand in the same sector as the closed door? If so, that's why you're getting the HOM.
