When i gob levels, the filesize is huge. I origionally blamed 16bit mats, but now i have done a small level with no custom mats, and no cogs, and the level is still 7 mb zipped. has anyone else had this problem?

If you open it in ConMan, I'll bet there's a ton of irrelevant files in it. When you Gob, it's putting every single file in that same directory in the container. Go to Options, and check the 'Smart Gobbing' box.

Also don't put files you aren't going to use in your project directory.

All you levels in one directory? No wonder it's so huge. You're supposed to have a seperate project directory for each level you make. For instance, I keep my levels under:

C:\My Documents\My Star Wars\JK Levels\<level name folder>\levelname.gob

So each level has its own folder so everything stays seperate.
