I'm having some very strange HOMs with doors. I've had the problem before. It happens only in this one hallway, and I think it is because of the COGs, I'm not sure. I get the kind of HOM that you get when going off the map (like Doom w/o clipping or a surface not flagged as impassible) on 3 adjoins. The COGs I'm using are the JED door and double door client/server COGs avaible here at Massassi. I don't have the 3dos in more than one sector or anything funky, all comes up clear on the checker. Someone help, I'm confused.

Well, I give the answer to this in the editing help section of my web site. Unfortunately it's still down from the Massassi server switch.

Improperly made doors are one of the most common causes of hom. The problem is most likely that you don't have the door in a sector by itself. In other words, you can't stand in the same sector as a closed door.

Ya, it actually has to do with a part of the cog that unadjoins the sector the door was in. It gets into some strange stuff with the enemy ais.
