i have a question, ok, When i try to open jed, it just stops, then i close everything else and then it works, how come i can;t open JED without closing the other progs?

How much RAM do you have? This may be specific to your system, but not likely.

Jed is a very resource intensive program. Even on a killer PC, it can run heavy at times. This is because it requires a lot of system resources to render the grid map and 3d preview(especially when doing SP).

As a rule of thumb, you don't want a lot of proggies open when you're using it. No Jed and IE open at the same time.
