OK, how do I use different textures (ie -MaDaVentors- ASF grates) in a slashable grate?

Put the new texture in a folder named "mat" in your project directory. When you're texturing the surface the "/mat" folder should appear in the texture selection window. (The thing that appears when you double click on any surface in 3D preview.) Hit the folder, select the new mat, and apply it to both of the grate surfaces. All the flags and the cog should work exactly the same as an LEC grate texture. JK Level 4 has a bunch of slashable grates. You can always open it in JED to see exactly what LEC did...

I know I should know this, call it lack of forsight, Where again do I place the files (progect, cog, etc...)? I used to know, but my brother came home from colledge and messed it all up.
Any help?

Hey Shadowtrax, are you gatecrashing my post? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] Actually Home_Sliced wot I meant was how do you compile the 2 mats into one to use with the slashgrate.cog. I think you have to make a multicelled mat. Not sure how to do that but it doesnt matter as I've just extracted it all from ASF. Hope Mada dont mind.

You can use MatMaster to make multicelled mats. It's really easy. The first cell is the regular grate, with black as the transparent part. The second cell is the slashed grate, again with a big part of it transparent so it looks like you can walk through it.
