new mats coming out in screwy colors

i got matmaster2, and made me a 256 color bitmap to turn into a mat. it looked fine, until I tried to use the new.mat in jed. then, all the colors messed up. we had green changing into white, brown and a whole mess of colors. any help would be much appreciated.

My guess would be that the colormap for the mat isn't the same as the sector colormap. Make sure they are.
