How do you make it so the player has the same weapon when the next level loads as he did at the end of the previous level. When my next level loads Kyle is holding nothing. Weapons and ammo carry over OK. Thanks.

That's handled in the level's startup cog.

Grab the JKspecs so you can find out what the bin# for your desired weapon is.

Look for this line:

SelectWeapon(player, AutoSelectWeapon(player, bin#));

Yes, but the desired weapon is going to be different (possibly) each time depending on what you're using when the level ends.

There is no way to know which weapon the player had when he completed the previous level. You're gonna have to autoselect a weapon.

Why is there no way to know? Weapons the player is carrying, health and ammo all carry over. I havent played LEC JK for a while but I'm sure it carries over.

The weapons you have in the inventory are carried over. It just starts you with the highest rated weapon you have in the inventory.
