Okay I understand what a .mat is and that it is 8-bit which means 256 colours, but if that is 8-bit how do you come up with the
16-bit when JK only accepts 8-bit designed .mats. And one last Q's how do you make a 16-bit mat/jpg as there are no options in paint shop pro to up the colour depth from 8-bit to 16-bit. it only goes from 8-bit to 24-bit.
