256 color = 8bit = old mats

You must be using MatMaster to convert it to a mat. You need to go to www.outpostd34.com and get Mat16 to convert to 16 bit mats.

Hi everyone. I wanted to make a nice looking level with 16-bit mats, but I've never made any. Can someone explain what I need to do to make them 16-bit? Just get any image and in Paint Shop Pro set its colors to 16-bit? but then the mat converter will not accept that, it only wants 256 color images. Well, cya later.
