walk through my custom 3do's? it all seems fine but then i start the level and i can walk straight through my trees [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] why and does anyone know how to fix it?

btw, heres the template: tree1 _walkstruct model3d=tree1.3do size=1.597154 movesize=1.597154

It's because of the parent you're using: _walkstruct. Walkstruct 3dos are like ghost objects. Try _structure for a tree, stone, etc. For metal objects, try _zwalkstruct.

_Walkstruct is anything you can walk on. The only thing I can possible think that might cause a problem is that the 3do is not inside a sector, or does not have a sector set. In jed, press F10 to errorcheck.

Rhettman, your wrong, _walkstruct is the correct template. _structure is not walkable on. My guess is the 3do is sitting across more than one sector. Test it with it wholely in a single sector. If it's OK you're going to have to cleave and merge sectors to make a sector big enough, probably.
