My custom sounds don't work...

They make this very strange.. err.. noise, and all of them are the same.

If you recorded them with the Windows wav recorder they won't work.

I dunno but JK does not like sounds done by Windows Recorder, I am sure someone else here can give a technical explanation.

Will remixing them in GoldWave correct the problem?

Yes it will, windows sound recorder saves it in some odd format. I dont know the technicals but what I did is open them up with goldwave and just resave it. Worked for me.

JK requires that the wav files have a particular set of properties that MS Sound Recorder just doesn't support. It's as simple as that. I think the default settings in GoldWave work for JK.

Having GoldWave for an entirely different reason, I ran noise reduction and then resaved, with the added benefit of better audio quality. Thanks for the info all.
