I need to know what the best programs are for making 3do's and for cleving light. Please help!

I already have jed, and i dont think you can cleve light in JED. If you can then i just learned something new ... and jed isnt the best 3do editor, in my oppinion

I mean making the light go EXACLY where you want it to go .... for instance ... if you have a tunnel coming out of the ground ... and its dark outside and light inside ... well when the light shines out you want it to look just right ... not shining in another direction.

Jed is what you're looking for. The problem is the way JK handles lighting form the vertices. You will need to cleave the surfaces to get the effect you want. If you haven't done it yet read the lighting tutorials here at Massassi.

There is something called point lighting or dynamic lighting. It is buggy, but is about what you are looking for. Also, when you say "cleave light", I believe you are talking about the plugin Cleave Light. You can get it at http://www.code-alliance.com
