how do i make the patroller patrol faster???

I already know how to set the thing to 2 makes it go fast, but for the tie interceptor, i'd like it to go about twice as fast as that. If someone knows how, please tell. I found my problem i had with patrolling before, i added a frame instead of subtracted one.
I am lost and could care less if someone finds me.

Check the template reference in the tutorial section.. There's a template value like maxvel or something, try putting that in the template to see if it helps..

Ya - it's maxvel.

You can also set up frames and use a cog to move it through the frames at a given speed. The problem with that is it is usually not as fluid a movement as using keys.

ok i tried that (i experimented before coming here again to check replies), and it seemed to work, i got a tie interceptor to fly around, but it looks TOTALLY FAKE, 'cause it does a complete stop and then sloooooooowly turns, and speeds up, stops, slowly turns, etc.

I do think i need keys for that. but i don't feel like going through the trouble since it's just a simple level, and it's unnecessary,

so instead i have a Y-Wing coming from a rebel base, it looks ok, but if i let it be awake as an enemy, it doesn't patrol correctly when it sees an enemy, i gave it the grenade as a weapon (sorta like a bomb), and it looks very dumb when it sees an enemy, 'cause it stops in one place and looks around.

Is there a way for me to get it to drop some grenades constantly while going through a sector without being aware of enemies (using the aisleep.cog)? i just dloaded jkspecs, so i'll see if i can find anything there.
I am lost and could care less if someone finds me.
