i'm sorry, i'm new at this, could someone please tell me how to make it so that when you fall off a cliff in a level you die and the screen fades? I would really appreciate it.

Your fist post I see. Welcome to Massassi joe. I'm MikeC the moderator of the editing forum. If you haven't yet, please read the forum rules.

Here's what you need to do. Select the sector(s) that are the area you fall into. Hit enter to bring up the item editor. Double click on the part that says sector flags to bring up the list of flags. Select the one that says pit. Remember that you have to have enough room to fall before you hit the ground for it to work. It might be more than you think.
