To change a gif into a mat just open it up in paintshop , save it as a bmp then just convert it to a mat using matmaster/mat16.

Wow, that sucks. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Do you have Quicktime? If you do, you could open the gif in it and hit copy then paste it into your paint program. Then you can save it as a bmp. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Files>Open movie>your gif. Then when it's open you hit edit>copy then you open up your paint program and paste it in. You then save it as a bmp, which can then be converted into a mat.

Ya know, there's like 50 million Graphic Editors on the market, and on the internet...
Just 'cause you can't get PSP doesn't mean you're up the creek. Everyone should have a software site like ZDnet or TuoCows bookmarked. You have a computer- you need software.

Not trying to talk down to anyone, but I think knowing the ins and outs of stuff like using graphic editors and knowing HTML should be acknowledged as an outright prerequisite for editing games.

IMHO, people need more general PC experiance before they start editing, so their editing will be a hell of a lot more intuitive. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
