I have a BM I want to use for my TC's loading screen, but how do I make it so it becomes the loading screen?

In not an expert on BMs but I think this link tells you how to implement.

You need to find out the BM-File of the current loading screen you want to exchange. Then simply name your custom BM the same. That's all the magic to it.

Btw, you'll have to play around with the palette of your BM so the Text-Font isn't screwed up. I guess this doesn't apply to 16-Bit BMs, but I've never tried if they can be put as loading screens.

Ok, ive got all that down now, but to make the .bm file, I need Bmut. Where do you get it?

You can get Bmut from the Massassi Section titled 'Programs' its in there somewhere.
Does anyone know what kind of programs I should use to change the pallete so I dont get that screwy pink and red colour text?

Thanks!

Ok, a problem with Bmut now. When I put in the .BMP I want to convert to the .BM, it show up fine, but when I actually make the .BM, I dont see anything.

Alright, one more question. I have the BM showing up fine in game, but all the original text is almost impossible to read now. How would I go about changing the color and font of the menu text, like was done in SS3?

Either create your own Text-Font (never did that though) or try to use the original BM-Palette on your BM. The latter I managed somehow... it doesn't look good, but for a test it's good enough.

Otherwise you'll just have to play around with palette editing until you find something that looks right...

So far that is all I can think of.

Ok, given that my BM will look horrible with the oroginal pallate, I think I will need to make a new text-font. How would I go about doing that?

There's a prgram called FontJedi that you might find usefull. I've never used it myself though.
