Wow...I just read that post that SixsIxsiX posted, and...*whew*!

Anyway. Before I start, I'd just like to say that I already know how to put downloaded enemies into JED, so that's not what this is about. I'm trying to create a new enemy.

Basically, this is supposed to be a seatrooper. It's going to be complicated. I already have the part about the model, the textures, and the projectile (dart flower dart) figured out. I need help with two things.

First of all, how do I make it that he is holding a new weapon? He needs to be holding a harpoon gun, so I need some assistance with that.

Second, I need help with his COG. He needs to be able to breathe both under and above water. In other words, he can only be killed by being shot or sliced or punched. Not only that, but he has to activate a swimming keyframe once in water.

Can someone help with this?

Do you want the hard way or the easy way? The hard way is you have to modify an existing 3do by creating a new weapon for it or create a new one from scratch. You may also have to make new keys depending on how you do it.

The projectile it fires is set in the template for the enemy.

What's the easy way? Go download Millhouse's Imperial pack (I think its in Massassi's mod section - some of the enemies ended up there for some reason). He has an enemy based on Al McDonald's Deep Trooper skin that uses a harpoon all made and ready for you to use with a new projectile and templates and everything.
