Does anyone know if there are particular settings when smacking an avi file so as it will work with jk. i.e. frame rate, palettes or compression ratio as none of mine seem to work they always come up with a file in use or corrupted message even though the file is in the resource\video directory.

Surely trying to compress an already compressed format isnt going to work. You need to work with the original video. Just a guess.
